Mission StatementProactive Genetics, Inc. is committed to providing accurate and affordable genetic testing services in a safe and secure manner to the world's growing multiples community. We strive to inform and educate our prospective and current clients about multiples and the genetic relationship between them. As we grow and begin to offer more genetic testing services, we'll focus on maintaining quality, customer support, and affordabilty.
History
Proactive Genetics was founded in July 1999, with a purpose to carry out the mission stated above. With low overhead and the ability to focus on one particular genetic test, we offer results of unparalleled value. Proactive Genetics, Inc. is headquartered in Augusta, Georgia.
Technology Initiative
Through the use of leading edge technology, such as the PE Biosystems ABI PRISM 377 DNA automated sequencer, we are able to achieve a high level of accuracy, automation, and cost-efficiency. Using redundant checks in our database, testing control numbers, and quality control systems, we assure that test results are delivered promptly and accurately.
Internet Initiative_
Since inception, Proactive Genetics has used the internet to make the ordering process convenient and secure. Please see our Security and Privacy Statement to learn more details. Customers have the ability to check the status of their order and confirm all the dates associated with the testing process. Automated e-mail order confirmations and delivery confirmations are also provided.
Community Involvement - Multiples Clubs
Through partnerships with Mothers of Multiples (or Mothers of Twins) clubs around the country, Proactive Genetics has strived to raise awareness in the multiples community about the application of zygosity testing as a definitive solution to answering the curious question: Are my multiples identical or fraternal? Proactive Genetics has provided for promotional offers to clubs, and special group discount rates on an as-requested basis.
