The Zygosity Test Process
- There are several ways to order a zygosity test such as the online order form, or by mail, fax, or phone.
You will receive your customized DNA swab kit in 2-5 business days by regular mail.
You can check the real-time status of your order from our website at anytime.
- Once you receive the kit, simply follow the instructions for swabbing to gently remove cheek (buccal) cells.
These cells contain adequate DNA to perform the zygosity test.
- Return the samples to our lab in the postage-paid bubblewrap mailer.
- To confirm that our lab has received your samples, you will be notified by either
an e-mail message or postcard.
- Our lab extracts and analyzes DNA from the swabs.
- Within 10 business days of receiving the completed swab kits, your zygosity
test results will be mailed to you in duplicate. Clients have the option of also receiving
a copy of their test results via email.
